2 dead, 2 others seriously injured after crash in Yoakum County

YOAKUM COUNTY, Texas (KCBD) - Two people are dead and two others are seriously injured after a crash in Yoakum County late Sunday night.
Just after 10 p.m., troopers responded to a two-vehicle crash at the intersection of State Highway 214 and FM 213.
DPS reports two people from Odessa, 30-year-old Kayla Galindo and 28-year-old Isaac Carrillo, died at the scene of the crash. A four-year-old boy, also from Odessa, was transported to UMC with serious injuries. They were all occupants of a Ford F150 pickup.
Crash investigators say a GMC Sierra pickup, driven by 22-year-old Sladen Humphries, was traveling west on FM 213 approaching the intersection, while the Ford F150 pickup was traveling south on Highway 214.
The crash investigation report indicates the GMC pickup pulled out in front of the Ford F150, where it collided into Humphries passenger side.
Humphries was also transported to UMC with serious injuries. The report shows he was not wearing a seatbelt at the time of the crash.
The crash remains under investigation.
