Livingston ISD PTO member accused of fraud

LIVINGSTON, Texas (KTRE) — Livingston police have arrested a parent-teacher organization board member accused of falsifying bank statements.

Matthew Anderson, 40, of Livingston, is charged with forgery.

According to a statement, police were made aware of the possible fraud on Sept. 11. Detectives and Texas Rangers began an investigation and determined Anderson had falsified PTO bank statements for personal financial gain.

Livingston police are looking for any other possible victims of Anderson and ask anyone with that kind of information to contact police.
